Broxton is a small Coffee County city in south-central Georgia, connected by US Highway 441 to Douglas (15 miles southeast) and Hazlehurst (20 miles northeast). Interstate 75 lies 25 miles west for longer trips to Atlanta or Florida. The town sits amid pine forests and farmland typical of Georgia's coastal plain, with a humid subtropical climate. The Broxton Rocks, large granite boulders scattered around the area, gave the community its name and remain a local geological curiosity.
