Brownsboro is a small East Texas town of about 1,600 people, located 20 miles southeast of Tyler via Highway 155. The main route from Tyler takes US 69 south to Highway 155 south, while long-distance visitors use I-20 to US 69 north. Tyler Pounds Regional Airport is 25 miles northwest. The town hosts the annual Old Fiddlers Reunion each May, a traditional music competition running since 1949.
