Browning is a tiny farming community in west-central Illinois, home to fewer than 100 people in Schuyler County. Most visitors arrive via State Route 103, either from Macomb (15 miles northwest) or Rushville (15 miles southeast). The town sits among typical Illinois prairie farmland of corn and soybeans. Its historic 1892 one-room schoolhouse still stands on the main street.
