Brookville is a farming town of about 190 people in central Kansas, 15 miles southwest of Salina via Route 140. Take Exit 82 off I-135 and drive 20 minutes through wheat country to reach this quiet prairie community. The restored 1902 Union Pacific depot still displays the original railroad lettering on its wooden siding.
