Bronwood is a small farming town of 338 people in southwest Georgia, about 20 miles northeast of Albany via State Route 32. Most visitors arrive from Albany on US 19 north to Route 32 east, a 25-minute drive through cotton and pecan country. The town's old cotton warehouse still stands by the railroad tracks, marking its agricultural roots.
