Broadland is a tiny farming community of 15 people in central South Dakota's Beadle County. Reach it via US Highway 14 west from Huron, about 15 miles away. The nearest airport is Huron Regional, roughly 20 miles northeast. The old grain elevator by the railroad tracks has overseen harvests here since the early 1900s.
