The town sits in classic prairie country near the Minnesota border, with Highway 69 running north-south through the center. Most visitors arrive from Clear Lake or Forest City on these main routes. Every August, Britt transforms during the National Hobo Convention, when thousands gather to celebrate railroad heritage in this quiet agricultural community.
