Bristol is a small farming community in northern Indiana, about 20 miles from South Bend. US Route 20 runs right through town, connecting to the Indiana Toll Road for long-distance travel. Most locals use County Road 16 and farm roads to reach nearby Elkhart. The town of 2,100 sits in typical Midwest farm country with flat fields and straight roads. Bristol's claim to fame is its massive Mennonite furniture workshops operating out of converted 19th-century barns.
