Brighton, a farming town of about 3,000 people, sits 30 miles northeast of Memphis in western Tennessee. Take I-40 east to Exit 42, then Highway 51 north for 15 miles. Highway 14 runs east-west through town toward Covington and Mississippi. The drive from Millington-Memphis Airport takes about 20 miles. Brighton hosts an annual Iris Festival each spring when thousands of purple irises bloom throughout town.
