Bricelyn is a farming town of 392 people in south-central Minnesota, reached via Highway 109 from Interstate 35 near Albert Lea. The area experiences typical Midwest seasons with snowy winters and warm summers. The town was named after early settler Brice Lyon and still operates its original 1899 wooden grain elevator.
