Brewster is a village of 33 people in Nebraska's remote Sandhills region, reached via Highway 2 which runs east-west through town. Highway 183 provides north-south access just east of the village. The nearest interstate is I-80, about 100 miles south, making this one of Nebraska's most isolated communities. The village post office serves one of the state's smallest ZIP code areas.
