Breckenridge is a farming community in central Michigan, about 90 miles northwest of Detroit via I-69 and US-127. The town sits along M-46, which connects to the main US-127 corridor running north to Clare and south to Lansing. Most visitors arrive for the annual Lumberjack Festival in August, featuring competitive axe throwing and chainsaw carving.
