Braswell is a small community of 400 people in western Georgia's Paulding County, about 45 miles northwest of Atlanta. Take I-20 west to Dallas, then Highway 61 north to reach this quiet rural area. The town sits along Silver Creek, and you can still see the historic Braswell Mill from the 1800s that once served local cotton farmers.
