Branford is a small river town in north-central Florida, about 60 miles west of Gainesville along the Suwannee River. US 27 runs north-south through town, while SR 349 provides east-west access to US 129. It's a popular base for exploring nearby natural springs and state parks. The restored 1920s railway depot downtown now serves as the community center.
