Brandenburg, a small Kentucky river town of about 3,000 people, sits along the Ohio River about 45 miles southwest of Louisville via I-264 and US-79. The town serves as Meade County's seat and offers access to Otter Creek park and nearby Fort Knox. Its 1916 courthouse with a working clock tower still marks time at the center of the historic town square.
