Braman is a tiny farming town of 179 people in northern Oklahoma, eight miles from Kansas on US Highway 77. The main routes are US 77 north-south through town and Highway 11 running east-west to Blackwell. It's 25 miles north of Ponca City and sits in classic Great Plains wheat and cattle country. The town's grain elevator towers over the prairie, visible for miles as a reminder of its railroad heritage.
