Bradshaw is a small Appalachian community of about 300 people in southern West Virginia's coal country. Located along US Route 52 in McDowell County, it's about 15 miles south of Welch and 45 minutes from I-77. The town sits in a narrow valley surrounded by steep, forested hills typical of the region. The old brick post office from the 1930s marks the town center where Route 52 curves through.
