Bradford, a small Pennsylvania mountain town of about 7,700 people, sits in the Allegheny foothills 80 miles south of Buffalo. US Route 219 provides the main north-south access through town, connecting to I-86 near the New York border. The surrounding hills and Allegheny National Forest create scenic but winding approaches from all directions. Bradford remains famous as the birthplace and manufacturing home of the Zippo lighter since 1932.
