Braden is a tiny farming community in Fayette County, about 40 miles east of Memphis via Highway 64. This rural spot of 300 people sits amid rolling Tennessee farmland, connected by Highway 76 running north-south and Highway 64 east-west. Most visitors come from Memphis taking I-40 to Highway 64, while locals use Highway 76 for trips to Oakland or Piperton. The community still centers around its historic K-8 school that's served local families since the early 1900s.
