Boynton is a tiny community of 114 people in eastern Oklahoma's Muskogee County, about 15 miles southeast of Muskogee via State Highway 2. Most visitors arrive from US Highway 69, which connects to I-40 near Checotah. The town sits along the historic Texas Road, the old cattle driving route that connected Texas ranches to Kansas railheads in the 1800s.
