Boyd is a small farming town in west-central Wisconsin, home to 566 residents in Chippewa County. Highway 178 runs right through town and connects south to Highway 27 near Cadott, providing access to Interstate 94 about 30 miles away. Most visitors arrive via this route from Eau Claire or Chippewa Falls. The town's old wooden grain elevator still stands by the railroad tracks as a reminder of its agricultural heritage.
