Boyce is a small Louisiana town of about 1,000 people located 10 miles north of Alexandria on US Highway 165. The area features rolling pine forests and connects to Alexandria via Highway 165, with Highway 8 providing east-west access to Natchitoches and Interstate 49. Alexandria International Airport sits 15 miles south. The town houses the Louisiana Maneuvers and Military Museum, commemorating the massive WWII training exercises that brought 400,000 soldiers here in 1941.
