Borup is a farming community of 132 people in northwestern Minnesota's Norman County. Located along Highway 200 about 15 miles southeast of Ada, it's accessible via Highway 9 from Fargo-Moorhead (45 miles) or through the county road network. The town sits on former glacial lake bed, creating the rich farmland that defines the area. Its working grain elevator remains a prairie landmark visible for miles.
