Boonville is a small foothills town in northwestern North Carolina, about 30 miles west of Winston-Salem via US 421. The main route brings visitors through scenic Yadkin River valley countryside, while NC 67 connects west toward the Blue Ridge Parkway. The 1909 Boonville Hotel on Main Street recalls the town's days as a stagecoach stop.
