Boonton is a Morris County town about 30 miles west of Manhattan, accessible via Interstate 287 and Route 202. The area features rolling hills and was historically known for iron production. Main routes include I-287 for NYC commutes and Route 202 connecting to Morristown and Lake Hopatcong. The town's 1904 Carnegie library on Main Street was built with local brownstone from the area's former quarries.
