Bonita is a tiny northeastern Louisiana town of 164 people in Morehouse Parish, connected by US Highway 165 running north to Bastrop and south to Monroe. The main routes are local commutes to these larger towns and longer trips via I-20 near Monroe. The abandoned Cotton Belt Railroad right-of-way still runs through the center of town.
