united states

Bonanza is a tiny farming town in Oregon's high desert, about 30 miles northeast of Klamath Falls via Highway 140 and Bonanza Road. At 4,100 feet elevation, it experiences snowy winters and hot, dry summers. The 632 residents live in a broad valley surrounded by sagebrush hills and distant peaks, where cattle ranching and hay farming drive the economy. The town got its name from the original Bonanza Ranch in the 1870s.
