Bolton is a small Mississippi town of about 600 people located 20 miles west of Jackson on Interstate 20. Most visitors pass through on I-20 traveling between major cities, while locals use Highway 18 for north-south connections and quick trips to Jackson. The town sits near Hawkins Field airport, which hosts an annual airshow called "Thunder Over the Delta."
