Bogard is a tiny farming community of 169 people in north-central Missouri's Carroll County. Take I-35 north from Kansas City to Cameron, then US 36 east and local roads north about 80 miles total. US Highway 65 runs five miles west, connecting to Iowa through Chillicothe. The town was named after a local family and features a historic cemetery with graves from the 1800s.
