Bluff City is a small Tennessee town near the Virginia border, accessible via Interstate 81 at Exit 69. Highway 11E runs through downtown, connecting to Bristol and Kingsport, while Route 37 heads north into rural Sullivan County. The Tri-Cities Regional Airport is about 20 miles southwest. The town's 1906 train depot now serves as a museum and community center.
