Blue Mounds is a small Wisconsin village about 25 miles west of Madison, accessible via Highway 18 and near Highway 151. The community of 795 sits among the distinctive geological mounds that give it its name, close to Blue Mound State Park and the Military Ridge Trail. The village is home to Little Norway, featuring an authentic 12th-century Norwegian stave church originally built for the 1893 Chicago World's Fair.
