Blue Eye is a small Ozark Mountain town in southwestern Missouri near the Arkansas border, home to 446 residents. Highway 13 provides the main north-south route, connecting to Branson 20 miles northeast and continuing into Arkansas. Most visitors arrive from Springfield via Highway 13 (45 miles) or from Arkansas on the same route. The nearest airports are in Branson, about 15-25 miles away. The town gets its name from a crystal-clear natural spring with distinctive blue water.
