Blucksberg Mountain is a small South Dakota community of 692 people located 15 miles northeast of Sturgis in Meade County. Take I-90 to Exit 32, then Highway 34 north through Sturgis to reach the elevated prairie town. The route from Rapid City takes about 45 minutes, while locals make the quick 20-minute drive to Sturgis for daily needs. The town's 1923 grain elevator still stands as a prairie landmark visible for miles.
