Bloomington sits between Minneapolis and the Minnesota River valley, connected by three major interstates. I-494 runs along the northern edge, I-35W cuts through the east side, and Highway 77 provides north-south access through downtown. Most visitors arrive via I-35W from Iowa or northern Minnesota, or take I-494 from Wisconsin. The Minneapolis-Saint Paul airport sits partially within city limits, with several nearby hotels offering EV charging.
