Bloomfield is a small Finger Lakes community of 1,300 people, located 25 miles southeast of Rochester via State Route 5. The village sits in scenic Ontario County farmland, connected by US Route 20 and local roads to Canandaigua (10 miles) and Rochester. Most visitors arrive from I-90 via Route 332 south. The historic Main Street features the impressive Greek Revival Bloomfield Academy building, a former preparatory school that drew students from across the Northeast.
