Blanchester is a farming community in Clinton County, about 45 miles from Cincinnati via I-71 and Route 73. State Route 28 runs through town, connecting to Wilmington and points east and west. Most traffic involves daily commutes to nearby Wilmington or longer trips to Cincinnati. The town still rings its original 1920s school bell to mark class periods at the elementary school.
