Blanchard is a small Oklahoma city of about 9,200 people located 25 miles southwest of Oklahoma City via Highway 62. Take I-35 south to the Highway 62 exit for the most direct route from the metro area. The town sits on rolling prairie with hot summers and mild winters typical of central Oklahoma. Blanchard hosts an annual Peach Festival each July celebrating its agricultural roots.
