Blairsville is a mountain town in North Georgia, about 90 miles north of Atlanta via US 19. The drive takes you through scenic Chattahoochee National Forest terrain at 1,900 feet elevation. Main routes include US 129 north-south, State Route 515 east toward Blue Ridge, and US 76 connecting to North Carolina. The town hosts an annual Sorghum Festival where you can watch syrup being made with an authentic 1930s mule-powered mill on the courthouse square.
