Bladenboro is a small town in southeastern North Carolina's coastal plain, accessible via US Highway 701 from Fayetteville (90 miles north) or Wilmington (60 miles east). The area features flat farmland and pine forests typical of the region. Most notably, the town hosts an annual Beast Fest celebrating its legendary 1950s cryptid sighting.
