Blackshear is a small south Georgia city on US Highway 84, about 45 miles from Jacksonville and 70 miles from Brunswick. The main routes are US 84 running east-west through downtown and State Route 203 heading north-south to Interstate 75. Most visitors arrive from I-75 via Tifton, while locals commute daily to Waycross on US 84. The 1903 Pierce County Courthouse still anchors the historic downtown square.
