Blackburn is a tiny rural community of 76 people in north-central Oklahoma's Pawnee County, about 60 miles northwest of Tulsa. Reach it via US-412 west from Tulsa to Highway 18, then north through Pawnee. From Oklahoma City, take I-35 north to US-412 west for about a two-hour drive. The community still maintains its own post office, which doubles as an informal gathering spot for locals.
