Black Rock is a small Lawrence County town of about 850 people in northeastern Arkansas's delta region. Highway 63 runs north-south through town, connecting to Pocahontas and Newport, while Highway 361 provides east-west access. Longer routes typically connect via Highway 67 near Newport for Little Rock or Highway 62 north to Missouri. The town features one of Arkansas's few remaining swinging bridges spanning the Spring River.
