Bismarck is a small farming town in eastern Illinois, about 20 miles southeast of Danville via State Route 1. Most visitors take I-74 to Danville, then follow US 150 east and Route 1 south. The town sits amid flat agricultural land typical of central Illinois. Its historic grain elevator on Main Street still operates today, serving local farmers as it has for decades.
