Bishop Hills is a tiny Texas Panhandle community of about 200 people, located 10 miles southwest of Amarillo via I-40 and FM 2219. The nearest major airport is Rick Husband Amarillo International (AMA), about 15 miles away. Most visitors use I-40 as their main route, while locals rely on farm-to-market roads for daily trips to Amarillo. The community gets its name from the gentle rolling hills that rise from the flat High Plains landscape.
