Birmingham is a tiny Missouri community of 189 people in Clay County, about 15 miles northeast of Kansas City via I-35. Route 210 runs east-west through the area, connecting to Liberty and other river towns. Most visitors are locals commuting to KC or exploring rural Clay County's farmland and historic sites along the Missouri River valley.
