Big Run is a small Pennsylvania town of 500 people in Jefferson County's rolling hills. Drive Route 322 west from I-80 near Clearfield, then take local roads north. From Pittsburgh, it's about 100 miles via I-80 east. The town gets its name from the creek that once powered sawmills during the lumber boom.
