Big Cabin is a small highway town on US-69, about 30 miles north of Tulsa in northeastern Oklahoma. It sits at a historic crossroads where the main route to Kansas intersects with rural farm roads. The town of 195 residents serves mainly as a rest stop for long-distance travelers, though locals use it as a gateway to Tulsa for shopping and services. The name comes from a large log trading post that once marked this spot where Native American trails met.
