Big Beaver is a small Pennsylvania borough 30 miles northwest of Pittsburgh in Beaver County. Take US Route 18 north from Pittsburgh through Beaver Falls, or exit I-76 at Beaver Valley for long-distance trips. The town sits along Big Beaver Creek in rolling river valley terrain. Named for the creek where early settlers found extensive beaver dams creating wetlands throughout the valley.
