Beverly is a small West Virginia town on US Route 219, eight miles north of Elkins and the regional airport. The scenic highway connects to Interstate 79 via Buckhannon to the north, while Route 33 provides eastern access through Elkins. Mountain roads wind through forested ridges with elevation changes that showcase brilliant fall colors. Beverly holds the distinction of being Randolph County's original courthouse town, established in 1790 before the railroad shifted the county seat to Elkins.
