Bethany is a suburban community northwest of Oklahoma City, easily reached via I-40 and Highway 3. Most visitors take I-40 to Council Road, then head north into town. The city sits about 15 miles from Will Rogers World Airport and connects directly to OKC via Northwest 39th Street. Originally founded in 1909 as Oklahoma's first chartered city, Bethany maintained prohibition until 2018.
